I saw the Monument to Our Forefathers
After seeing the Shot Heard Around the World, we decided to drive an hour to Plymouth to see the Monument to our Forefathers, a granite statue started by the Pilgrims. We knew of the statue from Kirk Cameron's "Monumental" movie and Patriot Academy's Biblical Citizenship classes, but never had the opportunity to see it until now!

It was a lot bigger than I thought it'd be, and shorter at the same time, probably due to how thick the base is, with the four larger-than-life representations of Morality, Law, Education, and Liberty, with Faith pointing to God at the peak.

As I was taking pictures for a 360 panoramic with my phone, a guy sidled up and asked what Faith is holding. I told him all about Faith's Bible and the "Monumental" movie. He said he'd absolutely look into it!

Then a professional photographer taking pictures for a magazine started talking with my family, asking for information on the statue. We ended up talking with her for over an hour!

What's really funny is that this Monument is in the middle of a residential neighborhood. There's no official signage, visitor center, nothing. The only building is a shed where they store the lawnmower. This is the largest granite statue in America and it's barely advertised!

If you're ever in the area of Plymouth, Massachusetts, you should absolutely check out this statue!
