Artwork
Life forms are one of my favorite things to draw. Amazingly unique, they're full of textures, shapes, and movement. If I can interpret a bird in flight, show the innocence in a puppy's eyes, capture a relatable facial expression, or create something no one else has imagined, then I know I'm on the right track. I want my art to tell stories in the classic phrase, "A picture speaks a thousand words."
I currently work in pencil, marker, and in a 3D computer graphics software toolset called Blender, which does modeling, rigging, animation, simulation, rendering, compositing and motion tracking, video editing and 2D animation. For my digital sketches and "We Got Chickens" cartoon series, I use an Apple iPad Pro and Apple drawing pencil, using the Concepts and Procreate apps.
I also enjoy designing wire-wrapped jewelry, crafting semi-precious stones into beautiful rings and pendants.
