I Completed Hillsdale College's Course on Colonial America: From Wilderness to Civilization
In this course, I studied the Coloniel America: From the Wilderness to Civilization, and now European religious refugees and those pursuing prosperity colonized the New World.
To summarize: The colonists had everything going against them, from the Pilgrims arriving after a horrific voyage hundreds of miles north of their destination and in the middle of winter, to the difficulties establishing amicable relations with Native Americans (with the fault for hostilities lying with one party or both), and the degradement from indentured servitude to slavery. The United States has a very interesting beginning.
