In this course, I studied the history of the Civil Rights movement from its beginning with the 1866 Civil Rights Act to modern-day identity politics, including notable figures Booker T. Washington, Malcolm X, and Martin Luther King, Jr.
To Summarize: The argument of race is very difficult to argue or defend without offending a member or an elite on behalf of a member, but the answer to equal rights and opportunities, it appears, is to eliminate all practices discriminating (on behalf or against) a race.
